I’ve never been to Denver before, let alone Colorado, but my time here so far was really different from what I’d imagined. I pictured Denver as a sketchy little city that would be filled with pot-smokers, and I thought it was only fun in the winter time, as it is known to be one of best places to ski/snowboard in the U.S. But fortunately, I was wrong.
The city seems to be a happy little community of people that know each other off of the streets, and the architecture is pretty amazing. Today, I stopped by The Denver Art Museum with two other friends and there were some pretty great memories made.

We started off the day by grabbing some brunch at this cute little joint, Parsley. I absolutely loved my meal, and would definitely want to stop by again!
I got a Tomato Turkey sandwich with a Mango/Spinach/Kale smoothie, pleeaase try it out when you get the chance!
*Portions are pretty large, so to save some extra $$, stick with the smalls and half sizes. 😉
The museum we stopped by was pretty cool. I definitely recommend stopping by here sometime and checking it out. There’s a lot to do and the pieces were really unique and empowering.
The museum set up something really interesting. You’d take some beads and there would be vials next to painting and pieces. You could display your reaction by placing a certain bead color into the vial. It was really intriguing to see other’s reactions and that can really change your perspective on something you thought was out-of-this world, or appalling.
There was also this exhibit, Dancelab, a camera positions you to different dance moves, and then it’d display your moves onto an animated screen! Pretty cool, no?
